The concerns Introduction-What Is Advertisement, A Marketing Tool? Advertisement is a communication tool, used in marketing to promote the product in public. The main aim is to increase the sales, through perfect promotion (Percy and Elliot,2012). Advertisement is one of the key factors in brand building and sustaining the same. The main aim of advertisement is to remind and persuade the existing and potential customer to make a purchase decision. Advertisement should be deep and fresh in consumers mind for them to easily remember the product and brand. Thus advertisement is an essential tool to marketers to measure the consumer reference. lf advertisement fails, then the money and effort put into it is for waste. The means of advertising is basically Medias like television and internet now a day, with less importance to press and posters. To be precise, advertisement techniques are imaginative and is not a fool proof technique (White,2000). Which can indeed turn out to be the critics as well as concerns which can curtail the impact of advertisement to both advertiser and the targeted consumers? Whether his can be right or can be nullified is the biggest challenge in front of a marketer (Percy and Elliot,2012). So the future lies in the hand of studies which can come up with valued elements and truths to overcome the concerns. Below, are some of the concerns of advertisements and an inside look. The Future of Advertisement with an In-depth Analysis on Concerns Advertisement is everywhere, every day we tent to see a lot of different form and type of advertisement. Due to this many concerns have come up. Lets discuss a few below. ) Advertisement creates irrelevant desires: To begin with, advertisement at times end to create a look out for unattainable goals. The perspective of a common man are challenged. At certain point it creates pointless wants and exaggerates the need for a perfect life (Percy and Elliot,2012). That means transforming a normal product into a desirable product. So advertisement can change the identity of the product. In a nutshell advertisement can give di fferent meanings for a single product(Trampe,Stapel and Siero,2010). For example: High heel shoes was meant to be introduced as a neutral product, however consumers took it as a means to enhance self-image and beauty due to the advertisement(Trampe,Stapel and Siero, 010). Although there are critics which blames other social elements to be a part in such concerns, like movies and magazines portraying such an image, I strongly believe that the concern is true when it comes to majority of brands, especially cloths and accessories. Fashion and trend is often regulated by advertisement. b) Advertisement is deceiving: The second most concern about advertisement is that, it is misleading. Some advertisement tend to hold things which are not there in the actual product. Like the advertisement will value other aspects rather than valuing the actual product(Percy and example: Using images in dvertisement. Lot of cosmetic brands and fashion magazines are used to put up images of women to target the segmented customers. So that they can be fooled by the image which are not related to the actual product. Even then the consumers have a urge to try the product hoping that they turn out to be like the image shown in the advertisement (Perez ,2011). To an extend the concept seems to be a concern, I strongly stand against that because as a human being people should have the common sense and market knowledge to understand that these kind of images cannot mislead them in trying out a product. c) Advertisement disgrace our ntelligence: Thirdly, advertisement is said to insult the brilliance and intellect of a person. Once the concept hits, both the advertiser as well as the consumer can get confused. An advertiser may advertise a product but since different sector of people have different views and thinking capacity, it may be taken as a disgrace by some. This may be a drawback as they may miss a genuine product (Percy and Elliot, 2012). For example: Human models and cartoon characters used in cigarettes, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Which in turn, a certain majority felt as an and Hunn,2000). By far i agree to this concern, as this appens more than not in many beverages advertisement. Seen people offended by the advertisement and dropping the product. d) Advertisement not adhering to ethical values:Finally, advertisement is valued as unethical. There are set codes and rules for advertisement, then also some advertisement brakes the line to go beyond the ethics as the legal side cannot bind the ethical values (Percy and Elliot,2012). For example: The sexual objectification of women in advertisement. This was a highly discussed concern as surveys show the impact was so deep. Young graduated, women fell in pray for such advertisement techniques (Zimmerman and Dahlberg, 008). believe that this concern is not up to the mark, as long as it does not affect or harm, does it really matter? Conlusion By far advertisement is one of the powerful communication tool in marketing and sales. As the means and reach of advertisement is wide and it covers entire segment of consumers, its relatively the easiest mode of promotion. So it can be said advertisement has a future. Since the future of advertisement is of wide scope, its important to take all the above concerns into count (Cappo,2003). The advantages of advertisement and the modern era of life style helps the marketers in targeting ifferent group of consumers differently. The technology growth is enhancing the concept of advertisement.

In recent years the competitive global market has a big influence in growing for external business for raising the logistics companies, this is kind of developing a competitive advantage to their competitors. One of the key and strategic elements to be more successful is the outsourcing the logistics or transportations to the Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider. According to the (Knemeyer and Murphy 2004) Third Party Logistic (3PL) companies could be called as logistics outsourcing or agreement logistics. In the other words (3PL) Third party logistics provider is an employing an external company for the warehousing, transportation, inventory management and other value added activities for customer services. Third party logistics provide to the organizations competitive advantage for increas ing the importance of improving their performance of delivering services to the customers in logistics activities. Many companies for creation their supply chain to be more efficiently they are outsourcing their logistics activities to Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider. ââ¬Å"Also the time based competition is on the products that could be manufactured and delivered to the customer by the driven speedà as a technological grown-up become more movable toward the firms and countries, organizations might be achieve technological equivalence on the various ways of productsâ⬠(Abdullatif and Azri 2009). Furthermore, the organizations make an efficient decision in whole supply chain to outsource their logistics operations to the Third Party Logistics (3PL), that decision makes company to focus in their main business activities. This also provides to the organizations to managing much better parts of the entire supply chain. Overview of 3PL Between years 1970ââ¬â¢s and 1980ââ¬â¢s is recognized as the first generation of third party logistics of providing services for example transportation, shipping,à but between 1980-1990 were asset or non-asset based organizations by increasing the service levels of contribution and third generation is between years 2000 until now were generally based on increasing the supply chain integration. A Third Party Logistics providers (3PL), can be identified as first, second and third service providers. First party provider is the main company that provides the service or product, the second is to whom receives the service it is the consumer and the third is the company which hired by the main company for provide the service between costumers and company (Forrest et al., 2008). à Advantages of 3PL à At the beginning the primary advantage of outsourcing logistics activities to a Third Party Logistics (3PL) is focusing on core activities of the business. This means the core activities is much more important than logistics due to the companies have to create on value added activities for making much better revenue, the logistics operations is a beyond activity for each company in delivering the service to the customer. In the other words, the companies have to give the focusing in their main working areas and so, they do not willing to be busy about the logistics activities they believe to outsource their logistics activities to one of the best LSPââ¬â¢s. This is an improvement and contribution to the quality of service levels in overall performance in the companyââ¬â¢s core activities. Another case is the company they are not able of having its own logistics activities because of the potential financial conditions logistics activities such transportation, warehousing are not able of managing them. Then deciding on getting better transportation solution, more cost effective, better services, professionalââ¬â¢s equipment in transportation. Maybe help of reduction the carrying costs, loss in selling orders and are able to help to the company of moving more merchandise with less assets during delivering service to the customers. Some companies has an expectation from 3PL to improve their performance in the inventory reduction, availability of the capacity and less customer complaints by improving order accuracy. Also if the company is need the 3PL for better performance in the supply chain they should have well past data system. However, the company who is going to hiring a 3PL, the company has employees this is the biggest cost ofà hiring employees for every company, by providing the logistics services this is one of the important benefit is the reduction in the number of labours by outsource the logistics activities. Additionally, the flexibility is the other important factor of outsourcing logistics operations. Flexibility is one of the main strategic competitive market element, about the changing the market conditions very frequently, in those cases the company should be responsive to those unexpected changes, the company could not be responsive to those changes they choosing the way of outsourcing logistics activities to LSPââ¬â¢s. For example: If any company has customers in different part of countryside for delivering goods to itââ¬â¢s customers by hiring a Third Party Logistics it would more efficient by delivery them. They can have sufficient equipment and could provide reasonable solutions to them if the demand is low or high because of their storage and delivery performance this help to the company of saving time and costs. Furthermore, logistics activities in some cases become too much costly, the budget of the company is not sufficient for finance it so, they accept of giving those activities to be outsourced. Also may have as an object of making achievements in environmental issues the Third Party Providers have the capability to optimize a distribution networks and the most costless routes, reduction in carbon emission and control technology to rationalize the inventory to develop the trucks performance. à Disadvantages of 3PL Although there are also disadvantages in hiring Third Party Logistics provider in the selection of the outsourcing at the beginning, it is difficult to realize if it is reliable and cost-effective between the company and the Third Party Logistics provider. Every firm has to pay great attention at the selection of their Third Party Logistics partner; they have really to check if they are able to provide a better service to them. The biggest mistakes have been made because of the insufficient financial position, the companies cannot select the reliable outsourcing providers. It is not easy for identifying the Third Service Provider (3PL) if it is suitable or not, it a complex period. However, to solve this problem are required to clarify the ability of service provider. There are several procedures such as transaction costs, organize a system for maintain their reliability to work together with them if they could be choosing as logistics providers. Information sharing and apparent risk sharing between the parties is always required. Concerning information sharing, it is needless to say that smoother information exchange will result in a more efficient logistics activity. However, related costs may increase if some information essential to the firm would leak. Therefore, the commitment of each party in information sharing is required, and a scheme to ensure these commitments has to be prepared. However, this would also involve additional transaction costs. Constructing a risk sharing scheme between the firm and the 3PL provider is critical in establishing reliable partnerships. Some of the risks involved in using 3PL are demand risk, inventory risk, and financial risk, among others. The questions are on who will take these risks, and how to compensate the risk holders. Gain sharing is a popular example of a rewarding scheme in which the 3PL provider holds part of the risks, and then is given incentives based on the increase of the firmââ¬â¢s profit. This risk-sharing method is apparently some sort of a division of work between the firm and the 3PL provider. Establishing good risk sharing also involves transaction costs, although the associated costs can be reduced through the cumulative experiences and IT development. Another disadvantage of outsourcing the logistics activities is that the company doing the outsourcing loses control over the finished goods once they are transferred to the warehouse location. What this means is that although the 3PL company may have a computerized inventory system to which you have access, you lack the ability to perform a physical count in the event of a discrepancy. You also lack the ability to confirm shipping dates to your customers or promise quick shipment for orders that were short shipped or not delivered at all. REFERANCES à Knemeyer, A. How to Reduce Cars Number On Campus Case Study Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
How to Reduce Cars Number On Campus - Case Study Example Transportation emissions accounts for about 10% of the total emissions generated on campus and this emission have contributed to environmental problems. The significant aspect for campus is to reduce its own impact on the environment; thus the most fundamental contribution of campus is to contribute to the wellbeing of the society. The aim of this recommendation is to provide sustainable ways of reducing transportation emissions through reducing car numbers on campus in order to achieve sustainability in campus. Q. 1 The low parking fees at campus have been one of the primary issues for increased cars at campus. The current parking fee, which is too low almost offer many people the incentives to drive their cars to campus. The low parking fees has become one of the causes for increased cars on campus and this is one of the main causes for increased greenhouse gas emissions resulting from single occupant vehicles (Martin and Samels, 2012). Another issue is poor bus services, which is complicated; thereby contributing to increased cars on campus. The process of obtaining carpool passes has conventionally been complicated and this allows single car users to continue using single occupant vehicles on campus. ... However, this requires better planning and community design in a manner that can enable people to make effective transportation choices since poor choices have profound effects on sustainability. Martin and Samuels (2012) argue that each travel option is associated with environmental impacts; thus making effective travel choices can contribute to sustainable transportation. Employing sustainable transportation means is vital because sustainability is associated with meeting the present needs of people without compromising with their future needs (Makower and Pike, 2009).The efficient transportation modes can be described using transportation hierarchy and this hierarchy attempts to illustrate that sustainable transportation is the one that have a low impact on environment such as walking and cycling. This transportation mode requires little equipment; thus they have a less impact on environment. Q.3 Wilkin can strategically adjustment parking prices such as raising the parking fee in order to discourage single car users to campus; thereby reducing cars on campus. Successful management programs of incorporating incentives for commuters to switch from the use of single occupant vehicles require effective and strict formulation of policies at campus. For instance, organizing staff meeting and bringing the issue of raising parking fee with an aim of reducing single occupant vehicles in campus is vital. Although achieve this strategy is not an easy task, there is a need to offer car park permits, which can either be paid through lump sum payment or salary sacrifice scheme through monthly salary deduction. There is scientific consensus that human caused carbon dioxide emissions are

My ideal place Essay Example for Free
My ideal place Essay Every person has some special place, where he or she feels the most comfortable and happy. My ideal place is football field of my high school. Being a member of our high school football team I always spend a lot of time there when participating in our trainings and playing games. I truly enjoy this dynamic activity, and there is nothing better for me than playing football with my good friends and feeling myself as a member of the team. This is the place where I can fulfill myself the best, and this makes me feel great. Our football playground is amazing! It is absolutely not worth than the ones for professional NFL teams. The field is very large, comfortable and perfectly cared about by our high school personnel, so the grass is always in good condition and everywhere is very clean. There are special seats for those, who want to see and enjoy our games. We have very good equipment for the games and trainings: balls and our personal kits of yellow-blue colors. During our daily trainings our coach makes us to do different things. We do a lot of special physical exercises and drills, as well as having some theoretical lectures and consultations. As a rule, quite a lot of people gather for the games to support our team: our friends, parents, teachers and other spectators. Many of them hold our small yellow-blue flags and applaud for the best players of the team. By the way, we have a group of beautiful cheer girls, who always accompany us at the games. It is incredible thrill to appear in front of our audience and receive from them a huge doze of positive energy for good performance. I always try to catch a second before the game begins, to watch the skies for a moment and to take a deep breath of tonic fresh air. The football field of my high school is ideal place for me, because I truly like playing this game. I believe that it will become my real life-long dedication! Football is not only physical activity, but it is always a challenge. We like to play and to win, and we always enjoy our accomplishments together. During the trainings and playing games every one of us learns, how to be a member of the team, and together we learn how to deal with the things as a team. I think that this activity is very important for my future, because it improves both my social image and self-esteem. It helps to gain self-control over my physical self and mental self.

Essay --
A common meta-narrative surrounding the American Civil War deals with each side's motivation for fighting: the North fought to preserve the Union, while the Confederacy fought to preserve ââ¬Å"statesâ⬠rights, which tends to deemphasize the role that role racial slavery played in the nationââ¬â¢s history. In addition, when slavery is discussed, it is removed from political discussion and the North is often glorified for fighting for black American interests, eventually minimizing the racial tension that fraught the United States, in both the North and South. This paper will thoroughly describe the non-racial knowledge that has been subjugated around the Civil War, connect this knowledge to the grand narrative of this nation's history, and discuss how it problematizes general knowledge by deemphasizing its significance in America's history, ultimately outlining that ignorance of race relations in this country has only led to more racial tension. First, analyzing the story behind the Northern and Southern motivation for the war shines light on how and why the knowledge subjugated around the Civil War commonly minimizes issues like slavery and racism. Deemphasizing slavery by focusing history on the idea that the North fought to keep states united and that the South seceded in the name of statesââ¬â¢ rights does two important things. First, it diminishes the role racism played in American history and it also allows racism to be hidden behind statesââ¬â¢ rights rather than discussed in honest terms. The North did fight for unity among states, but such unity called for an economy that did not rely on slave labor (Zinn 177). The South did secede claiming statesââ¬â¢ rights, but those ââ¬Å"rightsâ⬠were to own property as they wished, that is to say human beings ... ...ended but race discrimination is an issue that is still going on in this country. Racism has been significantly reduced but unfortunately many individuals still have to face this problem. African Americans are not the only individuals that are affected by racism today. Individuals of many other races are also affected by this issue The struggle over racial slavery may be the predominant theme in American history (Loewen 137) and should not be ignored or downplayed in any degree. Although the causes of racism are a complicated historical issue, it is important to understand the dynamic interplay between slavery as a socioeconomic system and racism as the overlying ideological system (Loewen 143). The ideological system of racism has long outlived the socioeconomic system of slavery (Loewen 144) and learning from history in this way helps to prevent repetition of it.
